Being filled of the Holy Spirit is the refers to the enabling of God for service, as we see primarily in the book of Acts. The Apostle Paul only exhorts us to be filled only once in contrast to being filled with wine, with the idea that the Spirit of God should be the one that is directing our thoughts and actions. Some have defined that as control, but it seems to indicate the believer is to think clearly, and be available for ministry opportunities.
